The low-cost OpcEngine is an advanced communication platform designed for applications in industrial automation, SCADA system integration and working with a wide range of PLCs. It works ideally as a data centre and communication component in complex industrial installations.

Thanks to full compatibility with popular machine standards – such as TMC or EuroMAP – a faithful representation of the plant structure and its processes is possible. The system supports the handling of alarms, events, remote commands and allows the dynamic creation of data structures without the need for prior XML configuration.

Integrated functions for working with structures and calculations make the platform ideal for MES and OEE class systems. Data from devices can be shared within OPC UA as both simple variables and complex objects – providing great flexibility when integrating with other systems.

The solution works seamlessly with popular PLCs and is designed to handle multiple simultaneous connections – thanks to its optimised architecture, it copes well with heavy loads. All key OPC standards are supported: OPC UA, OpcPipe and the classic OPC DA, ensuring full interoperability between diverse systems.

Tani is available on Windows, Linux, in a Docker environment, as well as on Raspberry Pi – making it an extremely versatile choice for companies of all scales. Built-in network redundancy, data archiving and extensive diagnostic features help reduce downtime and increase operational reliability. What’s more, the system can be configured without rebooting, speeding up deployment and simplifying management.
